Marriage Licences The Real Truth

Marriage is a strictly a secular relationship so far as the State is concerned. It is also fundamentally looked upon as a “privileged business enterprise”. This is  because various tax advantages and other so called political privileges have become attached to the marriage license or civil union certificate issued by the State. These privileges have nothing at all to do with the marriage as a private relationship between two people. They do however have everything to do with commerce. Commerce involving a State owned commodity, you. These privileges tendered to the marriage partners through the acceptance and use of a license or certificate end up allowing the State to control the marriage partners’ money, property and kids. When you break it down and completely understand what’s going on a State sponsored union is nothing more than a commercial enterprise managed by you but owned and controlled by the State.

In the civil law, marriage is considered to be a for-profit business or a simple money making enterprise. Technically, the marriage license or civil union certificate is a business license allowing the marriage partners, by the authority of the State, to enter into contracts with third parties for credit, mortgages, and other debts. The marriage partners can, through the use of these third parties, obtain car loans, mortgages, and other installment debt in the name of the marriage because it is looked upon by the State as a privileged enterprise and a for profit business. The marriage contract acquires property throughout its existence and over time it is hoped that it will increase in value. Moreover, if children come into the marriage household by either birth or adoption, the business venture is considered to have “borne fruit.”; this “fruit” is again considered to be the property of the contract. Who controls the contract? It’s not you my friend.

Since the marriage license and civil union certificate are in fact contracts they must conform to the tenets of contract law. One of those tenets is that every contract must have consideration. Where is the State’s consideration in the marriage license? The State offers its consideration in two forms, one is the use of the license itself by a couple, and the other is that the license and its terms and conditions are to be regulated by the State’s courts and statutes. This so called “privilege” to be regulated by the State includes all statutes, acts, codes, and court cases concerning all matters related to the marriage enterprise. Consideration on the part of the marriage partners is the actual fee paid for the license and the couple’s implied acceptance of the State’s authority through statutes, acts, codes, and court cases related to marriage law, family law, children, divorce, and marital property.

Even though these conditions are never disclosed to the marriage partners the marriage contract is in fact a dynamic, flexible, ever-changing instrument. Once the contract is accepted and acted on by the marriage partners it forever places them in a legally defined position inferior to the States authority and control over all assets of the marriage.

It is very important to understand that children born to or adopted into the marriage are considered by law to be the fruit of the marriage contract. Or in simpler terms just another State owned asset. This means the children primarily belong to the State not the parents. This fact is of course never disclosed to the partners. As unbelievable as this seems it is absolutely true.

This fact is related to two doctrines that became established in the United States during the 1930s, the Doctrine of Parens Patriae and the Doctrine of In Loco Parentis. Parens Patriae means literally “the parent of the country” or to say it more plainly the State is the undisclosed true parent. This means that parents may raise their children and maintain custody of their children as long as they don’t offend the State. However,if they in some manner displease the State, the State can step in at any time and exercise its superior status and take custody and control of its children. (Thus the Doctrine of In Loco Parentis. or “in the place of a parent”)

Have you ever wondered by what authority the State can step into a family situation and literally snatch the parent’s children away from them? Well its because of Parens Patriae and In Loco Parentis. If push comes to shove the State uses these two established doctrines to exercise its control.

Here is a link to just one of the news stories of the State snatching a child from its parents. Google it and you can find thousands more. Also notice that in this story and any other you locate there is not not one mention of the doctrines described above the State uses to exercise this sort of power and control over its citizens.

I know this sounds incredibly bizarre but it not only happens in the United States it happens in all western countries. Here’s a story from England.

Custody issues of children can be found in the family code of your state. Usually the State agency involved in child custody issues is Child Protective Services. Even though this is usually the case other agencies are becoming more involved most notably Hospitals.

Another important consideration to understand in the State contract is the question what if it doesn’t work out? Remember when using that license the partners accepted the privilege of being regulated by State statute. To see how a dissolution of the marriage contract is handled all you have to do is go to your states Family Code online.

If you are getting a divorce and you read the family code in your State you will quickly realize you have got yourself into a real mess.  And of course there are attorneys to hire and depending on the assets to be divided and the kids, if any, this could get really expensive and emotionally draining in a hurry. Ask yourself this question, have you ever known anybody who went through a divorce where one or even both of the partners got cleaned out of almost everything they had?

Also notice that in this part of the code divorce is simply called  a “Dissolution”. What does that mean? The Code calls “divorce” a  dissolution because the marriage contract doesn’t end with the divorce it continues in operation but in amended or modified form. The “divorce” is merely a contractual dissolution or amendment of the terms and conditions of the contract you and you partner voluntarily entered into. Jurisdiction of the State over the marriage, marital property any children of the marriage and the marriage partners still continues.

These State unions bind you into a contract with the State that the State controls absolutely. Their contract and its legal effects are triggered by the acceptance and use of either a marriage license or civil union certificate. These documents are in reality not just contracts but what is technically termed public contracts. However there is another form of contract you can utilize to have a valid marriage or union without any of the negatives of the State’s public contract. This form of contract is called a private contract.

Contract law is a distinct and separate form of law recognized in all the courts of the United States and in all common law countries. Contract law, whether public or private, is primarily used in court to enforce the obligations of the contracting parties. What makes a contract public and another contract private are several things; one of the most important is what is called the venue and jurisdiction clause. In a State sanctioned marriage, the marriage partners’ cede jurisdiction to the State thus ceding control and jurisdiction of the contract to the State. This ceding is accomplished by the marriage partners’ unwitting use of the license or civil union certificate offered as consideration by the State. Once the partners cede jurisdiction to the State any and all marital issues that arise from the business enterprise are fought out in State court where you are obligated to hire lawyers and spend lots of money. State jurisdiction was accomplished by putting foreign or public law into your contract making what you thought was a private matter a public matter.

In a private contract, venue and jurisdiction is kept private between the parties to the contract. No foreign law, State statute, administrative or court rule is made a part of your contract; the State is kept out; therefore the venue and jurisdiction is kept private. There is a maxim of law that describes this, it is Le contrat fait la loi.” The contract makes the law. In other words the words in the document of your private contract are the law!

What Is Reality – Prepare To Be Surprised

Here’s how and why my copywriting can make you more money CLICK HERE

See my copywriting website by CLICKING HERE

Have you ever asked yourself what is real? Have you ever wondered if you were real or if your life was real? Most people have; I know I have. But what is reality anyway? Have you ever truly wondered? Let’s start our journey to find out with the definition. The definition of reality goes like this:

Reality is the state of things as they actually exist, rather than as they may appear or might be imagined to exist. In a somewhat wider definition, reality includes everything that is or has been, whether or not it is observable or even comprehensible to the mind.

Wow, that’s pretty breathtaking isn’t it? It’s also fairly spectacular because it states that our reality includes not only the stuff we can see and measure, but also things we can’t see or even understand. As weird as that sounds this has actually been confirmed by scientists working in the fields of quantum mechanics and string theory. One of the startling facts these scientists have uncovered is that we actually live in a world of 11 separate dimensions. Of these 11 dimensions, we only have direct contact with 3 of them. The other eight are curled up and attached to the 3 we move around in, but we have no direct knowledge of them. So one interesting fact we have now uncovered is that our reality includes a lot of unobservable, and immeasurable stuff.

We still need to find an answer to our question, though. What if we took a poll? Polls seem to be one of the favored ways to get peoples’ opinions on everything today so let’s explore that tactic.

If you took a poll and asked any group of people what they think constitutes reality you would no doubt get a variety of responses. You would find some people who would say that reality does include those things which are unseen. These unseen elements would be in the realm of the spiritual or supernatural. These people would also tell you that you can’t see these things or directly know them, but they are part of our reality nevertheless. You would also get people who would say that reality consists only of what you can see and touch. “If I can see it, it’s real.” You would also likely get an opposite response such as “If I can’t see it, or measure it, it doesn’t exist.” Can these sorts of opposing opinions cause problems? Unfortunately they do, particularly concerning religious beliefs, and especially about the existence of the Christian God.

Tell an atheist or agnostic you believe in the Christian God and then ask them if they believe. None of them will agree with you of course. They will more than likely tell you that there is no proof that God exists. They may even ask you “Since you believe in Him why don’t you prove that He does exist.” On the face of it this all sounds reasonable, but remember our definition of reality. Our reality is also made up of things that no one can see or even understand.

Some atheists have taken their non belief in the Christian God to a new level. Dr. Richard Dawkins, author and scientist, not only doesn’t believe in God he thinks the Christian God is a cruel joke. To be fair, Dr. Dawkins is well respected as a scientist, and is probably a fairly decent person, but for such a smart man his views on reality and man’s place in it are extremely closed and narrow. He is also pretty bitter about the notion of a Creator God as this famous quote of his demonstrates.

”The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.”

In all frankness, Dawkins thinks he is the smartest person in the room. He is convinced beyond reason that the mechanism of Darwinian evolution can account for not only the creation of the universe, but also the creation and diversity of life on planet Earth. He tells anyone who will listen to him that macro evolution is a fact even though he knows that what he is saying is a lie. He is aware it’s a lie because he doesn’t know or have the slightest clue of any mechanism that supposedly runs macro evolution. You would think that Dr. Dawkins would know the answer to that question, but he doesn’t. Ask him to explain the mechanism that created the first replicating organism on Earth. If you asked him he couldn’t tell you, because he doesn’t know the answer to that either. If he doesn’t know the answer isn’t he exercising faith in Darwin the god of evolution? Well, yes he is! What does Dr. Dawkins think about faith? Here’s a quote on faith by the good Doctor.

“Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is the belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence.”

Well there you go. Rock on Dr. Dawkins!

Now back to his quote on God. I particularly like the way he states with authority that God is… “the most unpleasant character in all fiction…”  Dr. Dawkins has got his facts confused. It is God who is in fact real and Dr. Dawkins who is the fiction. Let me explain.

The God of the Bible is described as a transcendent, spiritual being. He is also described as the creator of our universe. His transcendent nature also makes Him wholly independent of our space time. He can enter into it at will, and certainly has at various times, but he exists in a realm outside of and independent of it.

Remember our reality consists of everything that is or has been, whether or not it is observable or even comprehensible to the mind. How does all this fit into our question of what is reality? To start to answer that question let’s take a closer look at our universe and its very nature. We’ll start by digging way, way down.

On the subatomic level reality gets more than a bit fuzzy. In fact it gets downright weird. Let’s first look at the nature of matter. All material objects are composed of atoms. The material objects could be the Earth, people, buildings, steel, or anything at all. It doesn’t make any difference what we are looking at everything is composed of matter. The periodic table, which is a table of all the elemental matter known to science, consists of just 103 elements. These elements are the building blocks of everything around us. Each element in the table is composed of tiny groups of very specific particles called atoms. These particles are so small they are invisible even to the most powerful of microscopes.

Atoms are also composed of even smaller particles. An atom’s core is composed of two of these particles, neutrons and protons. The atom’s protons have a positive charge; the neutrons have no charge. The glue that holds the protons and neutrons together is one of the fundamental nuclear forces called the strong force. This elemental force is so strong it is, on a human scale, incomprehensible. In addition, a cloud of electrons surrounds the core of each element’s atom. Depending on the element, the number of electrons orbiting a particular atom varies from 1, which is Hydrogen, to 103, which is the element Lawrencium. Another fundamental nuclear force, the electromagnetic force, holds these electrons in their orbits around their atom.

The forces on these particles all work together in a special way to make up what we perceive as our reality. When you touch something with your finger, say a tabletop, your brain tells you, “I can feel the tabletop”, so you conclude with confidence that the table is real. But is that what really happened? In fact that’s not what happened at all. When you perceive you have touched the tabletop what really happened is the electrons orbiting the atoms in the cells of your finger just get very, very close to the electrons orbiting the atoms in the wood of the tabletop. When both sets of electrons get close they are then repelled by the electromagnetic force. Your brain interprets this interaction of electrons as you touching the tabletop. But that never happened, you really never touched anything. You can see how this works by getting two simple magnets. Lay them facing each other  with the positive pole of one magnet pointing towards the positive pole of the other magnet. Then try to move them together. What you find is they can never touch, they are repelled by the electromagnetic force. What this means is you can never ever come in contact or touch anything. Your sense of touch and therefore your sense of what is real in our universe is just an illusion, a mind trick.

The classic representation of an atom you saw in school textbooks was that of a circular space. At the center of the space were little balls that represented the protons and neutrons. A little bit out were little balls orbiting the protons and neutrons that represented the electrons of that atom. Let’s take a closer look at this. If we look at the true scale of the simplest element, hydrogen, some very strange truths emerge. Hydrogen consists of one proton and one orbiting electron. If the hydrogen atom’s proton were one thousand pixels wide the one orbiting electron would only be one pixel wide. The distance of the electron from the hydrogen’s one proton would be, at this scale, eleven miles from the proton. The other weird thing is that protons and electrons are composed of mostly nothing. In addition to that, our hydrogen atom, at the scale we are describing, is made of mostly nothing, empty space. This translates into the fact that what we perceive as solid matter, whether it’s a steel bar, an airplane, and even you, is mostly composed of empty space, nothing!

This now gets even stranger. The atom’s proton and neutron also have no definite locality. They’re here and not here simultaneously. The same is true of an atom’s electrons. They have no locality either. Orbiting electrons are basically a cloud of objects that are both here and not here at the same time. All these particles randomly wink in and out of existence. The other fact of this Alice In Wonderland reality is that the simple act of a human being observing the behavior of any kind of matter actually influences the  matter being observed; weird but true. This was confirmed by Thomas Young in his famous double slit experiment. Light was known to have two properties; it was both a particle and a wave. Depending on what Young wanted to observe in his double slit experiment, the light particle obliged him and delivered the exact result he desired. If he was looking for his experiment to produce a wave pattern of light, the light cooperated and produced one. If he wanted the experiment to produce a particle pattern of light, the light again obliged him and produced one. The implications of this are staggering! Your very thoughts can literally control your reality. Life really is a dream!

So what is real in our universe? The sunning answer is that nothing is real! All matter is composed of stuff that is mostly composed of nothing, empty space. The stuff that we perceive as real is in fact not even there. It winks in and out of our space time. So the truth about reality is that life really is just a dream. Who knew that when the classic do-wop tune “Life Is But A Dream” was released by the Harptones, that the Harptones were in fact quantum physicists masquerading as musicians.

Update: Phil Robertson and Duck Dynasty Under Attack

Here’s how and why my copywriting can make you more money CLICK HERE

See my copywriting website by CLICKING HERE

This is an article about PC speech, political brainwashing, corporate stalking and intolerance, economic threats, greed, and money, lots and lots of money. But I am going to open this article with an innocent question. Does anyone out there have a rational explanation for the flap over Phil Robertson? Well I’ll give you the answer before I give you the explanation. All Phil said was that Homosexuality is a sin. That’s it. That’s all. And lots of Christians and others who religiously watch the Duck show believe the same way that Phil does.

If you’re not familiar with the name or the issue, Phil Robertson is the pater familias of the Robertson family of A&E Duck Dynasty Fame. The flap is, or was, over what Phil said to Drew Magary in a piece she wrote for Gentleman’s Quarterly. The piece was about the show and the Robertson clan. (see hyperlink below to read the article in its entirety) If you haven’t read it the GQ piece is rooted in not only the wildly popular cable series Duck Dynasty but also the outside the box, God centered, rural values, and lifestyle of the Robertson family and their outspoken patriarch Phil.

It is obvious from the piece that Phil is a committed born again Christian and not at all shy about talking about his life or about what he believes. By his own admission he is a tolerant man that holds no grudge against people with different views on life than his. He is also passionate about spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to non believers. But what did he say in the article that got the homosexuals and the progressive PC crowd so cranked up. Well he said this:

“It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

Yeah, I hear what you’re saying Phil and it’s certainly nothing for folks to get worked up about in my books. In fact this sort of direct, straight talk, here’s exactly what I think kind of response is what has made this family and Duck Dynasty so endearing to its millions of avid followers. Although the backlash  from Phil’s comments in the GQ article have been hateful and bitter, the comments have only been coming from a concentrated minority of Americans, which from all appearances seem to be only gay activists, gay organizations and liberal media outlets that support gay agendas and the homosexual lifestyle.

What Phil’s comments really did was shine a light on the true colors of the self-styled tolerant and enlightened PC segment of our society and show them for what they really are, prejudiced, bigoted fanatics. Their actions against the show started with boycott threats against A&E and the advertisers of Duck Dynasty. They then demanded that A&E remove Phil Robertson from the show for his insensitive comments against homosexuals. To their utter amazement the spineless executives at A&E did exactly what they demanded. What this flap has really done is highlight that these critics are anything but tolerant they are instead jack booted thugs ready and willing to trample and destroy anybody and everybody that disagrees with them.

But what did Phil really say that was so offensive? All he said was that to a normal man a woman’s vagina is more sexually desirable than a man’s anus. Now, I don’t know about you but I couldn’t agree more with that statement. Normal men are sexually attracted to women not to men. It’s natural law and it’s also God’s law. To a healthy heterosexual male the thought of having sexual intercourse with another man is pretty disgusting and more than a little creepy. That’s just the way it is. But when Phil dropped the S bomb and said that homosexuality is a sin that’s what really stirred this hornet nest.

What I’m saying is that this controversy is really more about the belief or non-belief in the God of the Bible than about anything Phil said. I would assume, especially from the comments I have read on the Internet from gay activists and their supporters, that most homosexuals and their advocates are not believers in the God of the Bible. I would also assume that none of these parties believe in the concept of sin either. And that’s alright. God gave you free will so you could believe anything you want even if what you believe is wrong. But the real issue here is that homosexuals don’t want anybody, and I mean anybody, to characterize or proclaim that their sexual behavior or life style as abnormal or sinful. What they and their advocates, like the Huffington Post, (see hyperlink below to read the Huffington Post response in its entirety) really want is everybody in America to view gay sexual practices and lifestyles as completely normal even conventional.  That’s what’s really going on here folks the attempted PC brainwashing of America by a committed fringe minority and their backers. My comment about what they want middle America to embrace is good freaking luck guys it’s not going to happen.

Now this is probably where some of you will maybe start to think that I’m some kind of homophobic weirdo and I hate gay people. Nope you couldn’t be any further from the truth. I don’t hate homosexuals. I hate sin. Sin is death and my attitude as a Christian is hate the sin not the sinner. I think that’s exactly what Phil was trying to get to in his GQ interview. I think he actually said that but just in a different tone.

So this controversy over the Duck family is particularly funny to me because the critics of Phil’s comments haven’t hurt the show or the Robertson family at all. What they have actually done is the exact opposite. They have enlarged the viewer and supporter base of Duck Dynasty and strengthened the Robertson’s cause. In fact, more and more people are coming out of the woodwork daily expressing their support for the show and its values. This controversy has also had an unintended consequence the critics of the GQ article never intended. It has highlighted the critics of Phil Robertson for what they really are, people that don’t care about Christian beliefs, your rights, free speech, the Constitution or any of the values that made this country the greatest the world has ever seen or ever will see.

Drew Magary the writer of the GQ article summed up Phil best when she wrote:

“Whatever you think of Phil’s beliefs, it’s hard not to gaze upon his cultivations and wonder if you’ve gotten life all wrong. This is life as summer camp. It’s gorgeous, in a way that alters you on an elemental level. I feel it when I breathe the air. I feel it when I survey the enormity of the space around me. I shouldn’t be sitting around the house and bitching because the new iOS 7 touchscreen icons don’t have any fucking drop shadow. I should be out here, dammit! Killing things and growing things and bringing dead things home to cook! There is a life out in this wilderness that I am too chickenshit to lead.”

I wholeheartedly agree with you Drew, Phil actually has the courage to live his convictions.

Today is December 28th 2013 and I forgot one little thing. I never talked about the greed and the money and how that has played a part in this apparent tale of woe. Well it appears that greed has played a huge part in this tale because the looming loss of millions of dollars of revenue has apparently gotten the better of the spineless executives at A&E. They have just announced that A&E is lifting the ban against Phil and will begin filming the new season with him in the spring of 2014. (see hyperlink below to read the article in its entirety) Isn’t that interesting? Was it that simple? Did they just come to their collective senses because they realized they had wrongly slandered a good man and a decent family? Or was it because of the money? Do you think it could be because literally hundreds of thousands of people signed petitions demanding that A&E reinstate Phil to the show or face the financial consequences from the shows fans? Do you think it might have been that other cable networks like The Blaze told the Robertsons that Duck Dynasty could move on over to their network? Could it be that the Robertson family might have told A&E that if dad wasn’t on the show then it was AdiÓs Muchachos?

All this reversal has shown is that A&E is just like most every other corporation, greedy, soulless and concerned about only one thing, the money. The other interesting development about Phil’s reinstatement, which was broadcast on Fox News, is that the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Discrimination used it as a parting shot at the Robertson Family. They said that a “dialog” between Phil Robertson and the gay community was a critical next step. Now I don’t know about you but I want to be a fly on the wall if that happens. Can you imagine a group of lesbians giving Phil Robertson gay sensitivity training while Phil preaches the gospel to them? Get out your cameras I see another hit series here.

An Answer for Biblical Critics

Here’s how and why my copywriting can make you more money CLICK HERE

See my copywriting website by CLICKING HERE

There are many people who are highly critical of the Bible. This group is populated by skeptics and in your face atheists.  Neither of these groups appear to have an overabundance of critical thought. They just proclaim hysterically to anyone that will listen that the Bible is full of contradictions and is no more than a compilation of older stories and tales that has been molded and crafted by the Hebrews and the Apostles for their own purposes. They declare that there is no proof that Jesus ever lived or that there was ever an actual resurrection. They proclaim there is no concrete evidence that anyone ever saw the resurrected Jesus. They also say that there is no evidence that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David or Solomon ever existed. They say there never was a Holy Temple. They state that the Bible is a lie and that the Hebrew God is a lie and a fiction. I can understand some skepticism but gimme a break!

All of that these attacks can be countered with just a few very common sense questions for these critics. If the Bible is a lie why has it endured for thousands of years? Why have some of the greatest minds in western civilization embraced it? Here is an extremely short list of some of these giants that embraced Christianity: Blaise Pascal, René Descartes, Galileo Galilei, Sir Isaac Newton, Michael Faraday, Charles Babbage, Max Planck and literally thousands of other great minds in the fields of mathematics, astronomy, quantum physics and the natural sciences.

Why would these great minds embrace a lie? Do the critics, some of whom are extremely well known, actually believe that they have more insight and knowledge of the Bible than any of these men? The simple fact is that lies do not endure and rational thinkers do not embrace lies. Lies are always found out and generally in a short time. Once found out they are discarded to the trash heap of history. Yet Christianity and the words of the Bible endure.

If the Bible is a lie, why do approximately 2.4 Billion regular folks on our planet consider themselves Christians? Do these critics believe that human beings in general are just naturally  stupid and gullible? While many alleged educated people might think just that, my experience and sense of it is people are not stupid at all. And again we go can back to the endurance question.

If the Bible is a lie why is the Bible literally crammed full of scientific fact. It is in fact littered with more confirmed fact and truth than any other religious text on the planet? Does the Koran offer any confirmed science, how about the Bhagavad Gita? I hardly think so.  The declaration of current scientific facts in the Bible is stunning. Some of these truths have only been recently confirmed by scientists in the last 30 years or so. Just one of those truths can be found in Genesis 1:1 where the Bible declares that God created out of nothing all space, matter, energy and even time itself. Cosmologists have only recently confirmed this declaration as an absolute fact in the last thirty years withe discovery and confirmation of the Big Bang Theory. This theory, that has been accepted by cosmologists and astronomers worldwide, states that the universe that we live in was created out of nothing. If the Bible was made out of whole cloth by a group of desert wanderers how could these ancient people possibly have known any of this? Here is a short list of just some of the science fact in the Bible.

Declarations in the Bible consistent with current cosmology

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the Earth.

This verse is literally packed with truth. It declares that time, matter and energy all had a beginning. It destroys the notion of a steady state universe, or the theory that the universe always was and always will be and the primary explanation of creation that dominated science for hundreds of years. It also declares that a transcendent God created our universe out of nothing and that the universe was not created by any discernible natural mechanism, a statement that is getting more and more confirmation as the years pass.

Statements Consistent With Paleontology

Dinosaurs are described in detail in several Bible books. The book of Job describes two dinosaurs. One is described in chapter 40 starting at verse 15, and the other in chapter 41 starting at verse 1.

Job 40:15-18
Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.

Job 41:1-4
Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?

Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn? Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee? Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?

How could the writer of Job possibly have known anything about dinosaurs over 3000 years ago? Dinosaurs were only discovered in the mid 19th century.

Statements Consistent With Astronomy and Cosmology

The Bible refers to the great number of stars in the heavens and that the stars cannot be numbered. Astronomers have only recently confirmed this as fact.

Gen 15:5
And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Genesis 22:17
Blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.

Jeremiah 33:22
As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.

Even today, scientists admit that they do not know how many stars there are. Only about 3,000 can be seen with the naked eye. Everything else is a best guess.

The Bible Claims that each star is unique

1 Corinthians 15:41
There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.

This distinctiveness was only confirmed with the advent of spectrometry in the 20th century.

The Bible describes the precision movement of the universe.

Jeremiah 31:35,36
Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The LORD of hosts is His name):

If those ordinances depart From before Me, says the LORD, Then the seed of Israel shall also cease From being a nation before Me forever.

Cosmologists have also confirmed the precision and incredible order in the universe. This order has only been recognized in the last 50 years. In addition it is recognized that this order cannot have been a product of random chance or any natural process. The origin of this observed complex order still continues to baffle scientists.

The Bible states that some matter is in fact invisible.

Col 1:16
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

These invisible structures are now a fact with the confirmation in the 20th century of atomic and subatomic structures and the presence of dark matter and dark energy which appear to be foundation substances of the material world.

The Bible describes the suspension of the Earth in empty space.

Job 26:7
He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing.

The Bible describes the expansion of the universe.

Isaiah 40:22

It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

This fact of cosmology was only discovered and confirmed by Edwin Hubble in the early 20th century.

We could go on as these verses are not all inclusive. There is much, much more.

If you critically examine the attacks on the Bible as a created compilation what you will conclude is that there is absolutely no chance, zero probability, that a group of desert wandering people could have constructed this text.

So how did it happen? The Bible actually tells us. The Holy Spirit inspired the words of the prophets. In fact many of the prophets commented, as they were writing the text, that they had no understanding of the things they were transcribing.

But still the critics rail. What is most interesting is that the Bible foresees these attacks against it.

Rom 1:19-23
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things.

So, You Think You’ll Never Be Sued

Here’s how and why my copywriting can make you more money CLICK HERE

See my copywriting website by CLICKING HERE

I know what you’re thinking, who would sue me? Well believe me there are plenty of folks out there that would sue you given half a chance. But don’t worry there are very simple approaches you can employ to make yourself an unsuitable target for a hungry attorney. Why should being sued concern you? Why would you ever get sued?  Here’s why it has been estimated that 50,000 lawsuits are filed in this country every day of the week. It’s also been calculated that your odds of ending up as a defendant in one of these suits is about 1 in 3.

The reality of our legal system is that people are named as defendants in lawsuits not because of their degree of fault but because of their ability to pay. I know this sounds backward but when an attorney is approached by a potential client who is claiming injury or economic loss, the attorney will consider whether a theory of liability can be developed against someone who can pay a judgment; someone like you. This is called the search for the “Deep Pocket Defendant.” The Deep Pocket Defendant will have substantial insurance coverage and or personal assets that are not protected and can be seized in a suit.

Here is an example.  Mr. Woodrow is driving in his car. Mr. Johnson runs through a stop sign at an intersection smashing into Woodrow’s car and causing Mr. Woodrow severe bodily injury. From his hospital bed Mr. Woodrow looks through the Yellow Pages and calls the first law firm he sees. The lawyer he speaks with is Dewey Cheatem from the offices of Dewey Cheatem and Howe.

Mr. Cheatem is what is known as a “Contingent Fee ” lawyer. He will work for a percentage of the ultimate recovery. He determines whether to invest his time and money in a case based upon what his expected return will be. Since the time and expense of preparing for litigation can be considerable an attorney cannot afford to take a case that is not likely to pay off. You have probably seen these guys on television. They characterize themselves in friendly glowing terms,  “The Tough Smart Lawyer”, “He Brought Flowers To My Hospital Room”, “e rough Flowers to myHospital RoomNo Recovery-No Fee” or something similar. The deal they cut with the injured party is usually that the attorney will advance all costs and expenses of the suit in exchange for cost recovery plus 30% to 50% or more of any amounts which he can get from the Defendant.

Accordingly, before Mr. Cheatem decides to take Mr. Woodrow’s case, he will want to do some investigation. He will want to know whether Mr. Johnson has insurance and or if any of his assets that can be attached in order to make the case worthwhile. Now if it’s determined that Mr. Johnson does have insurance and assets and those assets are unprotected the case against Mr. Johnson will move forward but for right now let’s assume that Mr. Cheatem quickly determines that Mr. Johnson has no insurance and no assets. What happens then? Is that the end of the case? For Mr. Johnson it probably is the end of the case. Mr. Cheatem is not going to waste his time suing someone who can’t pay or who has no assets. But Mr. Cheatem is not going to give up so easily. He has a client with substantial injuries and that means “Big Bucks” if he can just find a defendant. He has to find someone to blame and someone who can pay. And that means that he is looking for someone like you! How can you be dragged into this seemingly cut and dried injury case? Well first Mr. Cheatem will analyze the deep pocket options. Here are some examples:

  1. Was Mr. Johnson on an errand for his employer at the time of the crash? If so maybe he can sue the employer.

  2. Did Mr. Johnson have any alcohol in his system? Possible case against the restaurant that served him.

 3. Was Mr. Johnson on any medication. If yes then there is a possible case against a pharmacy, pharmacist or drug company for an inadequate warning label.

  4. The stop sign Mr. Johnson ran through was in a residential neighborhood in front of someone’s house. Check to see whether the homeowner’s foliage obstructed the view of the stop sign. If so there is a possible case against homeowner for negligence.

  5. The driver’s side door of Mr. Woodrow’s car collapsed on impact. Possible case against the manufacturer for not making a more crash resistant frame. And on and on…

Do you see how far we are moving away from Mr. Johnson the person responsible for the accident? We are moving out in an effort to try and tie in a Deep Pocket Defendant. The example given here is taken from a real Texas case. As absurd as this sounds the unlucky defendant ended up being Mr. Johnson’s’ 92 year old, widowed great aunt. How did she get dragged into this? As it turned out she had purchased the car for Mr. Johnson as a gift. She was ultimately found liable on a theory called “Negligent Entrustment.” The jury found that she should not have bought the car for her grand-nephew because she should have known he would cause an accident. The verdict was for $932,000, and Mr. Johnson’s’ great aunt lost everything she owned. That’s right; one lawsuit and she was penniless!

Is this justice? Of course not. But again these types of lawsuits have nothing to do with  justice. The point of all this is that the foundation of every lawsuit is a defendant who can pay, period. Once such a defendant is located it is easy enough to construct a theory on why that defendant should be responsible. Judges and juries act on their emotions, not on the law. And when the contest is between an injured and sympathetic plaintiff against a defendant with assets the plaintiff will win virtually every time regardless of the defendant’s actual degree of fault.

As a result of this legal reality, the plaintiff’s attorney will always search for a party or parties who can pay a hefty judgment no matter how remotely connected they are to the case. In the old days it was said that ” He who has the gold makes the rules.” Now the saying goes in legal circles” He who has the gold pays the plaintiff.” The fact is that no matter how obscure your connection to an injury, if you have even modest unprotected assets, an attorney for an injured client will attempt to show that you are somehow legally at fault and you will be named as a defendant.

How can you defeat this insanity? It’s simple really. But first it’s important to understand this, so it bears repeating. If you have any assets at all a retirement nest egg, land, rent property, stocks, savings etc. you have probably done absolutely nothing to insulate them from lawsuits. Attorneys know this. Attorneys also know you are a potential meal ticket. You are literally a defendant waiting for a lawsuit to be filed against you. Everything you have can be attached in a judgement. All the attorney has to do is tie you to the case and name you as a defendant. And as you have seen here it’s easy to be named a defendant, lose, be held liable and forfeit everything you have.

However, this does not have to happen to you. If you are the potential target of a lawsuit you will never be named as a defendant if you just take some simple steps to protect yourself and your property. Those steps are to never own anything in your name. You can control vast amounts of money, land and property but on paper those assets are not owned by you. This simple trick was learned by the richest men on this planet hundreds of years ago. Once this is accomplished all your assets are protected and having your assets protected means you are no longer someones meal ticket. An attorney will not waste his time and resources going after you as a “Deep Pocket Defendant” if he can not attach a judgement against any of your money or property. If you are judgement proof he will move on to easier prey.

Theft and Destruction by the Powerbrokers

Cyprus is bankrupt. How did this happen and who gets to pay for it?  The people responsible for paying are ordinary working people, not the people that caused it. The people that caused it are the banksters and the elitists working for the global visa card, the IMF. When you cut through all the crap related to this story the banksters are the very people that initiated this global train wreck not only in Europe but also in America. They all have been and are engaged in the massive fraud of creating money out of thin air, lending it to anyone with the ability to pay back the money that was never lent, and then charging interest on the loan of the non-existent funds. These guys make the mob look like pikers. Could this kind of thing happen in America? You bet it could; it’s already being discussed.

What’s wrong with this picture, how about everything? What infuriates me is the fact that these gangsters, whether they be your local banker or brokerage house or your global banker, act like they actually loan you, some physical asset of value, even though all that is done is to create a digital entry on a computer system somewhere. You get loaned digital  nothingness. It doesn’t matter if you are a country wanting 50 billion Euros or you are an American getting 50 thousand Dollars for a home, the scam is all the same digital entries in a computer to create the non-existent money. The cost to the bank, zero dollars; the cost to you, everything.

When are people going to wake up and realize that the very people we put in control of governments around the world are the very people that ought to be put in prison for this massive fraud. If you or I did this kind of scam you would be put in the deepest darkest hole imaginable and the key would be thrown in the river. To the uninitiated this scam has been going on globally since about 1915 and it is just now that the cows are coming home. The truth is however the cows aren’t coming home they are headed over a cliff.

Here’s What Really Happened

America Is Unique

Have you ever wondered why America is so unique in the annals of world government? Have you ever wondered what made America that way? Most historians will say that it is because we have a system of representative government. This, however, is not the truth. Rome and Greece had representative governments too, in fact, that’s where we borrowed the idea. No, the truth is America is the only government ever where the people of the nation held total control over the wealth of the nation; as a consequence of that they also held all the power.

What Is Money

What is money? Do you really know? Most people think the bills in their wallet are money and they are partially correct. Money, in its simplest form is nothing more than a medium for exchange that everyone has agreed on for the purchase of goods and services in the nation. That’s the simple answer, but it is much deeper than that. Money and the absolute control over it is the ultimate seat of power. Whoever controls the money, controls the power, the votes, and the people.

 Power To The People

This simple fact was well understood by the founding fathers and as a consequence power and control over the money and the money supply was intentionally given to the people in our founding documents. The founders did this because they understood that all governments would eventually become corrupt. The founders also realized and instituted this monetary power for the people by the passage of the coinage act of 1792, which detailed the minting of real substance based money, and by also setting provisions in the Constitution for what entities were allowed by law to produce that money.

The coinage act legislated the United States Mint and defined the proportional value of gold and silver (real substance) used in the United States dollar; it also specified the substance based United States Dollar as the “money of account” of the United States. Article I.8.5 in the U.S. Constitution gave the United States Congress the sole right to produce this national coin, and to set its weight, fineness, and value.

The people of the states empower the Congress to coin money and regulate the value thereof and also of foreign coins.

Article I.10.1 declared that the States could not coin their own money or produce bills of credit and that the States could only accept the gold and silver coins minted by Congress as payment of all debt.

No state shall …coin money; emit bills of credit; [or] make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts.”

One of the things the founding fathers feared more than armed conflict was the control and even influence over our  money by the European banks and bankers. In fact Jefferson is quoted as saying:

If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered.”

With these monetary provisions and powers in place the founding fathers hoped and prayed the people and the country would be safe. But you know what they say, “A fool and his money are soon parted.”

Our Money Is Stolen

In 1913 the hopes and dreams of this grand experiment were dashed under the presidency of Woodrow Wilson. In December of that year the congress and senate voted to pass and Woodrow Wilson signed into law the Federal Reserve Act. This was also the year the 16th amendment was allegedly ratified. While there is contention and debate on exactly why and how this was accomplished or if it was even done legally the end result was that complete control of the money supply was taken away from the people of America and given to a cabal of private bankers headed by the Rothschild family of the Bank of England.

While many people today think that the Federal Reserve is part of our Constitutional government they are dead wrong. That’s an extraordinary claim that needs extraordinary proof. The proof can be found in the case files of the Supreme Court of the United States. In Lewis v. United States, 680 F.2d 1239 (1982) the Supreme Court declared the Federal Reserve and their member banks were a private corporation with no ties at all to the federal government. Here’s an excerpt from that decision:

Federal reserve banks are not federal instrumentalities for purposes of a Federal Tort Claims Act, but are independent, privately owned and locally controlled corporations in light of fact that direct supervision and control of each bank is exercised by board of directors, federal reserve banks, though heavily regulated, are locally controlled by their member banks, banks are listed neither as “wholly owned” government corporations nor as “mixed ownership” corporations; federal reserve banks receive no appropriated funds from Congress and the banks are empowered to sue and be sued in their own names.”

As a side note the Federal Reserve Bank has never been audited by the United States Government and no government agency has ever overseen, questioned or tried to influence or change the Fed’s monetary policies. That’s a fairly odd set of facts for a supposed instrumentality of the United States don’t you think?

What the Fed first did after taking control of our money was to issue debt based currency. After the takeover our dollars were initially redeemable for gold on demand at any of the Fed’s member banks.

This was the state of our “money” until March of 1933 when Franklin Roosevelt outlawed private ownership of gold. At that time the Fed completely did away with dollars that were redeemable for gold and instead issued fiat currency; or currency backed by nothing.

It is important to understand that the two Federal Reserve Bank notes pictured here represent two different kinds of paper currency which are not real “money” but circulate as such: the first is debt money (money redeemable in gold) and the other is fiat money or paper money backed by nothing. Debt based notes were issued from 1913 until 1933; from 1933 to present our “currency” has been exclusively fiat “money”. Fiat currency was something so abhorrent to our Founding Father’s that they didn’t even discuss it as an option. This is also why they decided to mint only gold and silver coins as real substance based money and to give control of that money and its supply to the people of America.

Facts About Fiat Currency

All fiat currency is created out of thin air. All fiat currency is intrinsically worthless. It  has its perceived value only as long as everybody believes it does. It costs the issuer of the note nothing, it is printed at will, and distributed in what ever amounts the issuer decides. Who issues our currency? The Federal Reserve, a group of private bankers with no legal tie to our government. This fiat currency is used to pay all public and private debts. Who buys our debt? Everybody from foreign Governments to even the Federal Reserve buy the debts of the United States. Why then do we the people have to pay back these debts with our taxes when in fact there was no money loaned? That, my friend, is a good question. Ask your congressman or senator that question. He can’t answer it.

The Hidden Tax

Did you realize there is a hidden tax built into all fiat currency? This hidden tax is called inflation. Inflation is generally explained away as the natural rise in the prices of goods and services over time. But this in not true at all, prices do not naturally rise; that is a lie fostered by the banks and bankers to keep you ignorant of what is really going on. The prices of goods and services only rise in direct proportion to the loss in value of the prevailing currency. Did you also know that historically every time a nation has resorted to a fiat currency that nation and its economy has always in every instance completely collapsed?

No Way Out

Since the Federal Reserve Bank first issued this fiat currency in the United States, monetary inflation has been endemic, standards of living have declined sharply and the gulf between the wealthy, middle class and poor have dramatically increased. The housing collapse of 2009 and the near total destruction of the financial system by Wall Street can all be traced to the use of fiat money, the ease of the “money” creation, and human greed.

Prior to control of the currency being turned over to the Federal Reserve the United States ran annual budget surpluses; after the Fed took control we have had non stop budget deficits. As a consequence, the United States is now the largest debtor nation on the planet. Our national debt today is over sixteen trillion dollars. That is just its funded obligations, which are on the books; if you factor in unfunded obligations, which are off the books and hidden from the public, the total debt rises to over one hundred trillion dollars. That amount of debt is incomprehensible! To just service the current funded debt today the United States is obligated to pay about one hundred and sixty billion dollars a year in interest fees. That’s about sixteen percent of the annual budget. And that number will go up every year, year after year after year. Hiding the true amount of the government’s liabilities from the public by sweeping the unfunded obligations in the closet makes it appear that we can tax our way out of these massive, mounting deficits. The truth is we can’t. These debts will never be paid and the likely outcome for this nation is a default and complete financial collapse at some future date. When this happens the United States will then be swept into the ash-bin of history as just another failed experiment.

The Big Lie

What is my point? My point is to just explain as simply as possible what is really going on financially in America. I don’t like being lied to and everything that comes out of D.C. about the economy and the economic condition of America is nothing but a self serving lie. On the other side of the coin there are many people – generally those in power – who view this as just normal business. They think we can pull ourselves out of this mess. I think these are the same kind of folks that think they can go to Vegas and win. This attitude is only promoted by the mathematically challenged. And so it goes.

Is there a way out of this mess? Yes there is, but it won’t happen until someone with the hutzpah comes along and has the balls to tell the American Public the truth.

As a parting note there are numerous references available online to back up the facts detailed in this article. Here’s a list of just some of them: The Creature From Jekyll Island, Web of Debt, Secrets of The Temple, Modern Money Mechanics, Affidavit of Walker F Todd, Senate Report No. 93-549, Billions For The Bankers Debts For The People, Congressman McFadden on The Federal Reserve,  Gold and Economic Freedom by Alan Greenspan. Gold and Economic Freedom is a must read. It’s short and to the point and will totally turn your head around because it points out the fact that we have been lied to for the last 100 years by the very people that are supposed to be protecting our freedom.

On The Persistence Of Evil

Here’s how and why my copywriting can make you more money CLICK HERE

See my copywriting website by CLICKING HERE

Of course the first thing you have to consider about evil is what is its definition, can we even define it? What does evil look like and can we even recognize it. The other more important consideration is in what context are we talking about this thing we call evil. The context of the term is the much more important item to nail down first. If we are coming from a background and world view that the universe came into being as the result of some natural or accidental process then the whole concept of evil ends up being nothing more than a man made term with no intrinsic meaning or value for human beings. In that context the term evil has no meaning whatsoever and more importantly no personal consequence. With an accidental universe, and as a consequence accidental life, there is no good and there is no evil, things just are. In that kind of universe there is nothing that cares for you or about you.

If, on the other hand however, a loving God created the universe and man for a special purpose then this thing we call evil has a very personal meaning to human beings. In this context the meaning of evil will not only have intrinsic properties but those properties will be the polar opposite of the creator. Evil will be the antithesis or absence of God. From this standpoint how would evil affect humans in that kind of universe. There is also the question of what does evil look like and how would we recognize it?

As children growing up we are all inclined to gravitate toward certain pursuits in life and certain interests. In addition, life will constantly present us with all kinds of new experiences. We will experience joy, sadness, success, failure, love, friendship, hate, sickness, and death. All these experiences can be broken down into three main categories, physical experiences, mental-emotional experiences and spiritual experiences. Some of the physical experiences we will encounter will be disease, illness, death, and injury. Some of the mental-emotional ones will be love, disappointment, and hate. Some of the spiritual experiences are experiences or emotions that can reveal or illustrate your connection to a higher reality. These experiences can range from feelings of oneness, peace, and understanding to those of impending destruction, fear and dread. Spiritual experiences can be and are many times triggered by one or more of the physical senses. As an example they can be triggered by vision or music. I have had many strong spiritual feelings and experiences while listening to music.

What or who institutes evil? From a Biblical perspective evil, in the form of temptation, is the main weapon of the god on this world, Satan and his emissaries. It is their primary weapon and tool to test God’s creation and man. An interesting point about evil is that I have listened to and often heard atheists and non-believers of all types ask the question “How could a loving God allow evil to exist in the world?” It’s curious to me because if you are truly an atheist that question is an oxymoron isn’t it? If you are truly an atheist then there is no God and as a consequence no evil. You can’t have one without the other. The question says more about the alleged atheist than it does about God or the presence of evil.

In the physical we can be and are constantly tempted by our senses. Hunger, lust, pleasure, and pride are all manifestations of this as are sickness, death, injury and pain. It’s not that we would consciously choose these sorts of experiences they are just a part of our physical world. They can be tools of evil though if they are used to derail or sidetrack your spiritual growth or to turn you away from God. Examples of these kinds of experiences pushing people over the spiritual edge abound. The book of Job is a perfect example of this. It is also a wonderful dialogue about why there is suffering in this world. In fact Job is a literary masterpiece on the mystery of suffering. Another aspect of the book is we find that Satan is behind all the evils and suffering on the planet Earth. The book of Job chronicles the physical evils used as tools by Satan to try and derail and disrupt Job’s faith in and love for God. An interesting perspective about Satan’s use of these tools is that Satan first used them to destroy the possessions and the people Job loved the most. This is a common tactic to go after the things and people a person loves to get at them to change their faith. In Job’s case, however, it didn’t work.

The same is true of mental-emotional experiences. Confusion, suspicion, treachery, threats, love, hate, coveting and pride can all be used to tempt and sidetrack you spiritually. The most effective of these tools is pride; pride in oneself and the worship of man as a god. Even though many people fall for this it is a lie. The temptation to rely solely on man’s knowledge and wisdom as the ultimate authority is just one of the tools of the master deceiver so don’t be surprised by it, expect it and be prepared for it. To counter act these influences we all need to recognize our tendency to be cajoled and swayed by the wants and desires of this world and act accordingly.

When I was a child I had a very spiritual nature. I was keenly aware of the fact that there was a bigger reality than the one that presented itself to me at home with my family. I was in tune with this truth as many children are. I am positive that because of my awareness and nature that I had a close brush with evil. I will never forget it. I was four years old and living in Harlingen, Texas. In my bedroom my younger brother and I had a bunk bed; I slept on the bottom bunk my younger brother on the top. I remember vividly a vision I had of Satan attacking me as I slept. It was so real I remember it to this day. It was so terrifying to me at the time that as I am writing this I am getting chills just remembering that night. When this vision occurred I was so frightened that I woke up screaming until my mother came in to the bedroom to calm me down. This story of my confrontation with Satan is not an isolated one. I was told another story involving a ninety-year-old woman who had a similar experience. She was attacked in her sleep by demons. She was quite clear about the fact that they were agents of Satan. It was so real and affected her so much she literally thought she was going to die. She was also four years old and still remembered it eighty-six years later. Why do these things happen? The only thing that makes any sense is that there is in fact a spiritual war being raged right now for your soul. These attacks go on daily. When you are attacked it is an effort of the dark forces to sidetrack and prevent you from accomplishing some future task or to keep you from influencing others with your faith.

As it says in the Scriptures:

Ephesians 6:11-12

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

The last tool in this arsenal of evil is spiritual evil. Spiritual evil can come at the hands of church teachers or other church authorities. Yes there are false teachers even in the pulpits of the world. The apostles even warned about it in 2nd Peter.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Spiritual evil can also take physical form. A present example of this kind of evil  is the stories of  sexual abuse initiated by pastors, elder and bishops. Another form of spiritual evil comes in the form of watering down the Creator and his message. The rise and popularity of new age teachings are a recent example of this sort of evil.

One other aspect of evil is can you recognize it; can you see it? Although that question brings up visions of monsters and horror movies reality doesn’t seem to be that clear cut. I believe you can recognize and even sometimes see evil or evil beings. I only say this because I have personally had this experience. The experience was palpable to me. The evil I felt was so thick you could cut it with a knife. I’m sure many of you have had similar experiences.

This brings us to the million-dollar question, why does God allow evil to exist at all. In the book of Job we found the answer to that question he doesn’t. Evil is allowed to exist in many instances not to punish but to chasten the believer. I’m not sure the same is true of unbelievers.

Man was given two great gifts by God, the gift of life, and the gift of free will. Our free will allows us to chose to either walk with our Creator or to walk with the god of this world Satan. We are God’s greatest creation and He loves us so much He is not going to force us to choose Him. He wants us to use our free will to make that choice for ourselves.

When You Stumble Across Death’s Door

Here’s how and why my copywriting can make you more money CLICK HERE

See my copywriting website by CLICKING HERE

The one absolute truth about life is that the minute we are born we begin to die. Pretty depressing if you think about it. So what’s the point of life if as soon as we get here we start heading for the exit? There is a point but I’m getting ahead of myself. We generally don’t become aware of death until we are much, much older. When you are young you’re usually too absorbed in life or some exciting aspect of it to even notice or think about what death is all about.

One of my very first memories was being about four years old. My family was living in Harlingen, Texas at the time. My dad was stationed at a United States Air force base there and my mother was a stay at home mom raising my two brothers and me. My dad had bought two houses in Harlingen and we lived in one and rented out the other one. We only went to the base for doctor visits or for groceries at the PX. One of my first memories was being at home one day in the kitchen with my mother. That day I was valiantly trying to talk to my mom. I remember looking at her and mouthing words while I stared at her expectantly for some sign that I had actually spoken. I remember her nodding with approval; she did what mothers are supposed to do encourage their children. I loved my mom. Of course the only thing that came out of my mouth that day was gibberish but I remember being proud of my effort just the same. Another memory I recall was thinking that I couldn’t wait until I was big enough to see over our bathroom sink. It’s funny what sticks in your mind when you’re a kid.

In fact that whole period of my life was filled with nothing but memories of all the new things life introduced to me. Each day seemed to be a new adventure. I vividly remember watching the Wizard of Oz one night with the family and the next day actually seeing a witch flying on a broom as I played in the back yard. I was awed and amazed. I also remember going to school with anticipation to see what new food was going to be served at lunch that day. They served us things I never got to eat at home. The school cafeteria was a gastronomical adventure land. Every day it seemed life would give me something new to wonder at.

Because my dad was in the air force we moved regularly. From Harlingen we moved to Barksdale. Barksdale had a Strategic Air Command base and was just outside of Shreveport, Louisiana. My dad flew KC-97s for SAC at the time. He spent months away from us refueling B-52s and B-58 hustlers loaded with hydrogen bombs flying the artic circle during the cold war. SAC flew that route 24-7 and my dad was very busy. General Curtis Lemay was the commander of SAC then. He was so controversial the movie “Dr. Strangelove” was modeled after SAC under General Lemay. When we got to Barksdale we lived on the base for a bit and then moved to town and lived in a house. Barksdale was where I got introduced to girls. I was seven years old and life was good. The adventures never stopped.

We then moved to Lincoln, Nebraska when I was about eight. My dad was stationed at the SAC command headquarters in Omaha. This being the height of the cold war, he was gone a lot. Lincoln, Nebraska was also where I first encountered death. It was on a small scale but it was devastating to me just the same.

I was into hamsters back then. I had one as a pet and I loved that little rodent. I was constantly playing with him and he seemed to enjoy me as much as I enjoyed him. The bad thing about me having a hamster then was my dad loved cats and we had one. Our cat loved my hamster too. My hamster lived in a cage suspended from my ceiling. I remember one day coming in my bedroom and seeing the bottom of the cage on the floor. My hamster was nowhere to be found but I did find a scrap of fur and some unidentifiable stuff on the floor. I immediately knew what had happened. The f’ing cat had eaten him! I screamed for my mother who flew into the room to find me crying uncontrollably on the bed. My mother tried to console me but it was useless. She tried to explain that it wasn’t the cat’s fault and why it had happened but I was inconsolable. I was devastated: so much for my first introduction to death.

My next brush with death came as a very personal encounter. After our stay in Lincoln, Nebraska my dad retired from the Air Force and we moved to Denton, Texas. We moved to Denton because it was a small college town and my dad had decided to go to school there. One Saturday my dad had gone to the college for a class. That early afternoon my mother got a frantic phone call. She said nothing to us and rushed out. When she got home several hours later I found out that my dad had died of a massive heart attack. I was eleven years old and my dad was dead. That whole experience was thrust on me like a head on car crash.

My next brush came when I was about twenty-eight. I witnessed a murder. That’s right a murder. I witnessed a woman stick a chrome plated thirty-eight caliber Rossi revolver into a man’ side and pull the trigger. It happened just outside of a McDonald’s where I was having breakfast. I saw it all unfold outside the window I was sitting by. I later found out his wife was the woman who killed him. She had caught him having an affair with the young woman who had just served me my coffee and egg McMuffin. His death was brutal. There’s a moral here somewhere.

When I was fifty-seven and again when I turned sixty-one I had two close friends die. The odd thing about their deaths was I spoke to each of them literally hours before they died. Mike was a close friend and working companion. When I was fifty-seven he called me one day out of the blue just to talk. In speaking to him I could tell something was dreadfully wrong with him. It was palpable. It was so obvious I told him repeatedly to go to a hospital but; he would have none of it. He hated doctors and hospitals. He tried to reassure me he was all right. Six hours after we spoke he died.

My other friend Dan was a close friend when I was in my twenties. He lived in Dallas at the time. I lost track of him after that for close to thirty years. We by chance got back in touch with each other when I turned sixty. I found out that Dan had gotten throat cancer and his life was completely destroyed by it. He did voice over work and after the cancer treatment he couldn’t work and his wife left him. He had been living in Austin but after the cancer diagnosis and treatment had moved back to Dallas. He was now all alone and living on Social Security. I was in Tennessee then but we talked fairly regularly. I found out he was having all sorts of complications as a consequence of his cancer treatment. Dan was also an atheist but he informed me in one of our talks that he had embraced Christianity. This completely surprised me. Around the fourth or fifth of December 2012 was the last time I spoke to him. I was unable to call him for over a month and I thought something was seriously wrong because of all the problems he was having. In January after doing some checking I found out he had died December fifth of organ failure. The day he died was about the last time I had talked to him. What an eerie feeling.

These two encounters had a profound effect on me. Two close friends gone just like that. Because of these experiences it seemed like death many times just sneaks up on you with no warning. One minute you’re OK the next minute you’re dead. You’re here one minute the next minute you’re not.

So what’s the point of life? Are we all just lost in the eternal darkness as many people think or is there some purpose to life? Many people, because of the despair they encounter when they trip over death’s door conclude that it’s all pointless, others don’t. Your choice is an individual decision but here’s what I believe. Life is not pointless at all it’s an extremely precious and immeasurable gift. We were all given this gift. What you do with it is your choice.

The other fact about life is that you are a special creation of God and God has a plan for your life. Your only job in life is to understand this fact and then to act on it. We have also been given another great gift, the gift of free will. Free will is a tricky thing because we get to use it in making the choice of how we are going to live our lives on this Earth. Although there is no test involved whatever choices you make here you take with you into eternity.

What is it like to be human?

I don’t think many people ask or think much about this question. It’s understandable because of the way people are looked on and treated as a whole on this Earth. If you just casually glanced around you might get the idea that human beings aren’t worth much if anything. Everywhere you look life appears to be as cheap and tawdry as yesterday’s trash; daily it’s brushed aside and tossed out like so much garbage. Millions of men, women and children are murdered in wars and genocides. Most of the world’s populations languish in abject poverty. It is almost more than one can bear.

If you look closely, however, the reality of the human condition is much, much different. Human beings, when you examine them, are exceptionally special creatures. As it states in the Scriptures, God made man just a little lower than the angels. As such you are born with unlimited power and authority; the authority to do both good and evil. You are a being of enormous power and might. You have been given the gift of sentience the ability to feel, perceive and be self aware. You also have a very special gift, the gift of free will. Free will gives you the ability to know right from wrong and the ability to choose. No other creature in the universe has this capacity.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the characteristics we as human beings can choose from. Let’s look at the bad or evil side first. People can be vicious beyond belief. Look at the conduct of humans in any war and you can get a sense of that. Humans can also be cruel beyond measure. Again you don’t need to look very far for confirmation. Yet they can also be compassionate, empathetic and caring beyond what you would expect. Why the difference? The difference has to do with your free will. We, of all God’s creation, have the ability to choose right from wrong and to act on that choice. We can choose to act on our base evil nature or to act contrary to it.

What is the true nature of man? Fundamentally all people are selfish. This may shock some people but it’s all too true. What prompts this selfishness? Human self-interest is always the springboard. In some people this self-interest can completely take over and consume their lives. It is initiated by the drive for power, the drive for money or the drive for control over others. Bring this down to a personal level. Think about all the times you personally engaged in emotional, mental or physical abuse, neglect or cruelty to another human being because of your self-interest. Do you think you haven’t? When was the last time you ignored someone, lied, lusted after someone or you coveted something? We have all done this. What makes us act this way? In all cases it has to do with coveting; wanting or desiring something that belongs to someone else. This is man’s true nature. When God wrote the Ten Commandments it was done to highlight man’s sin nature. The interesting thing about God’s law is that breaking any of the Commandments is always initiated by the act of coveting. Wanting more or better stuff that belongs to someone else.

Humans are also spiritual beings and there are pockets of good. We are the only living creatures that exhibit this spiritual side. You can hear it in our music, in our singing, you can listen to it in our poetry, read it in our literature, and see it in our great works of art. When we exercise it, our spiritual nature is almost transcendent. We exhibit it in mathematics and cosmology by trying to answering the great questions of nature. We also exhibit in in our capacity to engage in the selfless love and caring of others. We can be majestic. Even though many of us choose to rely on our selfish base natures in our daily lives, when we instead decide to use the qualities of our Creator God, our spiritual nature, this is what make us a special creation and just a little lower than the angels.
